This generous donation was made possible through the National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF), showcasing the government's commitment to enhancing healthcare services in the region.
The medical equipment provided includes essential items such as an X-ray mobile machine, infant incubators, hemocrit centrifuges, suction machines, autoclaves, and defibrillators. These state-of-the-art tools will undoubtedly improve the quality of healthcare services and help save lives in the community.
Mr. Tosin Adeyanju, the Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of NLTF, emphasized that this donation was part of President Bola Tinubu's 'Renewed Hope Health Intervention' program. The project was funded by NLTF through its approved lottery for good causes intervention in health, reflecting the government's dedication to supporting public health initiatives.
Adeyanju encouraged the community to take ownership of the equipment and ensure its proper utilization for the benefit of all citizens. The NLTF monitoring and evaluation team will be closely monitoring the projects to gather feedback and ensure accountability in the implementation process.
